Sam trained as an actor at The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He also studied English at St Andrews University where he was an active member of the Drama society both as a performer and a director as well as being the Arts Editor of The Saint newspaper. Since leaving RWCMD, Sam has worked as an actor for The BBC, Southwark Playhouse, Theatre 503, Soho Theatre, Nabokov, Watford Palace Theatre and Sprite Theatre Company amongst others. Sam has also worked on the production team for Claque Theatre Company, who specialise in large-scale productions with casts in the hundreds of local amateur actors. His role included running educational workshops and co-ordinating cast and crew as well as performing.
